Google via skill shop now offers a free introduction to Google Analytics 4 and a certificate.

Showcase your ability to use Google Analytics 4 to gain valuable insights and make marketing decisions. Certified users will demonstrate an understanding of Google Analytics, including how to set up and structure a property, and use various reporting tools and features.

By earning the Google Analytics Certification, Google recognizes your ability to:

  • Recognize key measurement features that can show the effectiveness of your online marketing efforts

You can do the exam without doing the course. You need 80% to pass. The course is about 3 hours

I have done the exam which is straightforward enough.

It will give you a basic understanding of GA4 which will be easy enough to build upon.

There are other skillshop courses that help you learn the Google advertising ecosystem, very handy for someone who wants to learn more about Adwords, Google my Business, etc.
